Visiting Antalya Tourism Fair ATF 2024

Updated: Jan 31

The Antalya Tourism Fair (ATF), conducted from October 23 to 25, 2024, at the Antalya Expo Centre, has established itself as a leading event in the tourism industry. Now in its sixth edition, ATF24 drew more than 25,000 tourism professionals from 35 countries, highlighting its importance in the Mediterranean area.

PMA Group attended the event once more this year, and here are the notes...

The fair facilitated numerous B2B meetings, providing a platform for industry leaders to forge new partnerships and discuss future strategies. Notable sessions included discussions on destination marketing, sustainable tourism, and the integration of technology in travel services.

Looking ahead to 2025, the global tourism industry remains optimistic, with international tourist arrivals expected to reach 1.5 billion, a 17.23% increase from 2023.   However, challenges such as financial uncertainties and geopolitical tensions, including the U.S. elections and potential global instability, may influence travel patterns.

Despite these challenges, tourism has rebounded strongly, with 2024 witnessing 1.4 billion international tourist arrivals, nearly matching pre-pandemic levels.   PMA Group remains confident in the continued growth of global tourism, particularly in Türkiye.

Türkiye offers a rich tapestry of attractions, including 12,000 years of history with sites like Göbekli Tepe, the unique landscapes of Cappadocia, the vibrant city of Istanbul, and the ancient ruins along its western coast, remnants of the Antique Greek civilization. Complemented by world-renowned cuisine, exceptional hospitality, leading airline Turkish Airlines (THY), top-tier resort hotels, and approximately 300 sunny days annually in the Antalya region, Türkiye stands as a premier destination for travelers.

In conclusion, while the tourism industry faces certain challenges, the outlook for 2025 is promising. PMA Group believes that with its diverse offerings and strategic initiatives, Türkiye will continue to be a focal point for global travelers.

Antalya Tourism Fair brings together the dynamics of the tourism industry for the seventh time on October 22-23-24, 2025 as the most productive Tourism Fair in Turkey and the Mediterranean.
